Luciana and Ella are two of our amazing former Casa de Amistad team members. They are both teaching ESL to students in Spain for the next few months!

¡Estoy emocionada para anunciar que he oficialmente graduarme de la Universidad de Georgia con honores summa cum laude! Estoy orgullosa de haber obtenido mi licenciatura en ciencias políticas y especializaciones en asuntos internacionales y español. Estoy infinitamente agradecida por las oportunidades que Casa de Amistad me ha brindado y cómo esta experiencia me ha ayudado a crecer tanto personal como profesionalmente. Estoy emocionada a ver lo que le depara el futuro a Casa de Amistad.

I am excited to announce I have officially graduated from the University of Georgia with summa cum laude honors! I am proud to have obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in International Affairs and Spanish. I am endlessly grateful for the opportunities Casa de Amistad has provided me with and how this experience has helped me grow both personally and professionally. I am excited to see what the future holds for Casa de Amistad.

Gwen Bayer

¡Nuestra Familia de Casa está creciendo! Gwen se graduó y va a ir a Olympia, WA antes de entrar a hacer su posgrado. Va a estar trabajando con una iglesia y una organización sin fines de lucro para crear una comunidad de tiny homes.

Our Familia de Casa is growing! Gwen graduated and intends to take a gap year in Olympia, WA before grad school. She plans to intern for a church and non-profit group to create a tiny home village on their property!

Tara Dolan

Tara Dolan comenzó a ser voluntaria con Casa su tercer año de secundaria. ¡Acaba de graduarse de secundaria y asistirá la Universidad de Chicago el próximo año!

Tara Dolan began volunteering with Casa her junior year of high school. She just graduated from high school and will be attending the University of Chicago next year!

Ayleen Lopez

Ayleen Lopez se gradué de UGA con su licenciatura en Relaciones Internacionales. ¡Va a trabajar con el Senador Ossoff este verano en Atlanta!

Ayleen Lopez graduated from UGA with her degree in International Affairs. She’s headed to a fellowship for Senator Ossoff’s campaign this summer in Atlanta!

Jacob Cato

Jacob se gradué de UGA y va a la facultad de derecho para estudiar la ley de inmigración. ¡No podemos esperar a ver cómo continúas ayudando a los latinos!

Jacob graduated from UGA and is going to law school to study immigration law. We can’t wait to see how you continue to help Latinos!
